Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking an entry-level Ticket/Gate Agent in a fast-paced airport environment. You will greet customers, assist with ticketing and baggage checks, and support boarding and gate operations to ensure smooth travel experiences.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a physical ability test and customer service assessment. Training is provided and shifts vary from early mornings to overnights.

Qualifications

• Requires safety and security awareness for self and others.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass PAT and Customer Service Assessment.
• May require SIDA badge and Customs Seal.

Responsibilities

• Own the check-in process and boarding, including gate announcements.
• Manage tagging and lifting baggage up to 70 pounds.
• Operate loading bridges and secure aircraft doors.
• Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers through the airport.
• Work shifts ranging from early morning to overnight, 20–40 hours weekly.
