Delta Air Lines is seeking an entry-level Ticket/Gate Agent to warmly greet customers, manage check-in and boarding, and assist with baggage handling and gate operations. You will ensure accurate travel documentation and customer care throughout the airport environment.

The role emphasizes safety, security, and strong communication, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight and a typical 20–40 hour workweek. Training and mentorship are provided to help advance your career.

Qualifications

• Places safety and security of self and others as a priority

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States
• Proficiency in English
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Basic digital literacy
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
• Pass a Customer Service Assessment
• Able to obtain SIDA badge and Customs Seal

Responsibilities

• Own the check-in, boarding, and seat availability, including gate announcements and travel documentation
• Tag and lift baggage up to 70 pounds from scales to conveyors
• Operate loading bridges
• Open, close and secure aircraft doors
• Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers
