Per Mar Security Services seeks a full-time Gate Attendant - Security Officer in Iowa City, IA. You will greet guests, control access, and monitor the entrance to ensure safety and order during shifts that include Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday times.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. A valid driver's license and transportation are required to support mobility in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City region.

We are looking for a FULL-TIME GATE ATTENDANT - SECURITY OFFICER in the Iowa City, Iowa.

Shift: Sunday (7:50 AM - 3:00 PM) / Monday & Tuesday (3:00 PM - 10:30 PM) / Friday & Saturday (5:50 AM - 3:00 PM)

Requirements:

• Must Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be disciplined to stay off personal phone.
• Must be able to walk extended periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license/reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass Iowa Department of Public Safety/FBI Background check from age of 18 to current.
• Must be able to pass company motor vehicle records check.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment 4-panel drug screen.
• Must be able to interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Must be able to remain calm in non-emergency and emergency situations.
• Must be detail oriented and aware of your surroundings at all times.
• Must be available to cover vacant shifts (Overtime).
• Must be comfortable using a tablet and its functions for job-related tasks.
• Must be reliable—excessive absenteeism will not be tolerated.
