Per Mar Security Services in Cedar Rapids is hiring FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS to serve Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Iowa City and surrounding areas. All interviews and onboarding occur at the Cedar Rapids branch.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the client post, with shifts from 05:00 to 22:00 across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. This entry-level role offers potential progression from the flex pool to full-time later.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Must come to Cedar Rapids branch for interviews/onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Cover vacant shifts 05:00–22:00, seven days a week.
• Interviews and onboarding take place at the Cedar Rapids branch.
• Shifts may arise on short notice.

** Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & the surrounding areas. --- All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch. **

Pay: Ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on assigned post (Rate is based on the client contract and varies from client to client.).

Shift: Various hour needs, but primarily someone who is available to cover vacant shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week. (Some overnight shifts may be available as well.)

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. ( Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply. )
• Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
• Shifts may come up on short notice.
