Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS to cover the Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City area. Interviews and onboarding take place at our Cedar Rapids branch.

Pay ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on assigned post and client contract, with shifts from 05:00-22:00 seven days a week including some overnights. Opportunities include an as-needed arrangement with potential path to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a Federal/State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Interviews and onboarding occur at the Cedar Rapids branch.
• Shifts may include weekends and varied start times.

Responsibilities

• Provide security officer coverage at client sites as assigned.
• Be flexible to cover vacant shifts between 05:00 and 22:00 seven days a week.
• Adhere to client contracts and company policies.

** Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & the surrounding areas. --- All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch. **

Pay: Ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on assigned post (Rate is based on the client contract and varies from client to client.).

Shift: Various hour needs, but primarily someone who is available to cover vacant shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week. (Some overnight shifts may be available as well.)

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. (Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply.)
• Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
• Shifts may come up on short notice.
