Atrius Health, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Registered Nurse for gastroenterology in Boston, MA. This role offers remote work flexibility within Massachusetts and a 40-hour weekly schedule, collaborating with GI physicians and APCs to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will assess patient symptoms, coordinate care, maintain EMR workflows, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Nurse must hold MA license and be in good standing.
• 5+ years of GI nursing experience.
• Proficient EMR use and care coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Build therapeutic relationships and educate patients and families.
• Assess symptoms and concerns via calls, portal, chat, and referrals.
• Prioritize needs based on clinical urgency and protocols.
• Escalate complex issues to GI physicians or Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
• Review patient inquiries on GI conditions, medications, tests, and plans.
• Provide clinical guidance within nursing scope.
• Maintain EMR inbox workflows and respond to messages.
• Ensure timely responses per department standards.
