Job summary

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a dynamic physician leader to join the Gastroenterology Residency program at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital as Core Faculty. This role focuses on medical education, resident and medical student training, and scholarly activity across our East Florida GME footprint.

The Core Faculty will model excellence in teaching, patient care, and professionalism, while shaping curriculum, assessment, and mentorship for residents and fellows, with opportunities to collaborate

Qualifications

• Board-certified by ABMS in the stated specialty and licensed to practice in Florida.
• Experience in academic/teaching environment preferred.
• Involvement in research or scholarship is encouraged.
• Strong commitment to medical education and resident mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day education of residents and fellows and teach medical students.
• Support curriculum development, assessment, and resident mentorship.
• Participate in scholarly activity and program leadership as assigned.
• Collaborate with Program Director and faculty across sites.
