Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital and the HCA Florida Healthcare GME Division are seeking an experienced Core Faculty physician for the Internal Medicine residency program in Atlantis, Florida. The candidate will participate in inpatient and outpatient services, supervise residents, contribute to curriculum, and engage in scholarly activity within a diverse, collaborative team.

Board certified in internal medicine, MD or DO, licensed or license-eligible in Florida, with strong interest in graduate

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in internal medicine, and licensed or license eligible in Florida.
• Strong interest and experience in Graduate Medical Education and academic pursuit.
• Willing to do inpatient and outpatient primary care/general internal medicine work.
• Active participation in resident evaluations, didactics, and program conferences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents on inpatient service and in the outpatient clinic.
• Participate in resident interviews and selection when requested.
• Contribute to curriculum and scholarly activity with residents.
• Engage in grand rounds, didactics, and educational activities.
