Birmingham Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a Physician Liaison to strengthen relationships with referring providers and health systems across the community. The role focuses on expanding awareness of GI services and driving referral growth while improving access to care.

The ideal candidate will be a relationship-focused healthcare professional with experience navigating referral dynamics among primary care, hospitals, and gastroenterology practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare Admin, Business, Marketing or Communications.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare business development, physician liaison, or related roles.
• Experience calling on Primary Care Physicians and gastroenterology/hospital networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with referring providers and health systems.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to physician offices, clinics, and health organizations.
• Educate referral sources on services, scheduling, and access processes.
• Identify opportunities to increase referral volume and market share.
