Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a Gastroenterology Physician (Open Rank: Assistant/Associate/Professor). The position focuses on outpatient clinic, inpatient consultations, and endoscopic procedures at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO.

Five days per week with clinic, endoscopy, and administrative time, plus nights/weekends call coverage. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and patient care, with Epic EMR experience

Qualifications

• Medical degree required for hire.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology required or eligible.
• Active Colorado medical license and DEA license required at/ before hire date.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Epic) preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification helpful/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient GI consultations.
• Perform endoscopic procedures.
• Share on-call nights and weekends with the group.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and trainees to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Engage in teaching, scholarship and service as part of an academic division.
