Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is recruiting a full-time gastroenterologist for its Boulder County clinics. BMC has served Boulder County and surrounding areas since 1949. It is a multi-specialty practice with 90 providers including MDs, DOs, Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and 320 support staff. BMC operates in five locations: Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville, CO, led by a professional management team that supports a focus on patient care.

GI Department Highlights

• Practice-owned endoscopy unit with 2 procedure suites
• All endoscopy equipment is new as of Jan 2024
• Propofol sedation provided by a contracted anesthesia group
• Hospital call is optional and compensated
• Hospital offers ERCP, BRAVO, and HALO procedures
• Wireless capsule endoscopy available on site

Practice Description

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications, dietary, and lifestyle modifications
• Provide care for chronic diseases and manage symptoms
• Order and perform diagnostic tests and endoscopic procedures
• Refer patients to specialists as needed
• Educate and counsel patients about their conditions and preventive measures
• Collaborate with other medical professionals for multidisciplinary care
• Maintain accurate medical records
