Locums Gastroenterology - Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Coverage Need

• Assignment Dates: Starting ASAP - Ongoing

Position Details

Coverage Type: No Call

Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM

Procedures and Clinic Only; No Call

Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients

Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 PA/NP, 1 Office Staff

EMR System: Epic

Orientation: Day 1 with Epic support

Submissions Requirements

• Board Certified
• ACLS, BLS
• Clean history with no pending malpractice claims

Skill Requirements

• Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices)
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)
• PEG placement
• Colonoscopy (biopsy and excision of polyp)
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Small bowel and liver biopsy
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation

Additional Information

• Open to week-on/week-off rotations
• Ideally looking for 1.0 FTE, potentially split between 2-3 rotating providers
• Clinic and procedure setting with APC support available
