Job description

This southwest Georgia medical center, a JCAHO-accredited facility, has an immediate need for a board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join an established, hospital-employed GI service for 26 weeks or more per year. We offer a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit with anesthesia for all cases. We have excellent, experienced APP support for both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Opportunity Details:

• Flexible Schedule: Hospitalist model with 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
• Large procedure rooms with the latest technology, capable of performing EUS, ERCP, and more
• A new Omega fluoroscopy room and additional OEC C-arm
• Latest generation Olympus endoscopes
• Specialized Fuji endoscopes for upper endoscopy and double balloon enteroscopy
• EUS consoles from Olympus, including the latest EUS console Aloka Arietta 850
• Spyglass, Exalt, Ultrasound mini-probes
• Highly trained endoscopy staff
