Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for a wide range of digestive, liver, and pancreatic conditions.
• Collaborate with surgical, interventional radiology, anesthesia, hepatobiliary, and oncology teams to ensure coordinated care.
• As part of an academic medical center, faculty are involved in teaching and research.

Job description

Approximate Salary $435,937 DOE annual base + competitive bonus, incentives, supplementals and benefits

In addition to an attractive base salary,
San Joaquin County offers competitive
incentive plans depending on ERCP,
supplemental pays and benefits package
that includes a pension plan, 30 days of
annual leave, 5 days of CME with a $4,000
allowance for professional development.

Our Gastroenterology team provides
comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide
range of digestive, liver, and pancreatic
conditions. We combine advanced diagnostics,
state-of-the‑art procedures, and a collaborative
approach to deliver exceptional care in both
outpatient and inpatient settings. We work
closely with our surgical, Interventional
radiology, anesthesia, hepatobiliary, and
oncology teams to ensure seamless, coordinated
care. When specialized management is required,
patients can be referred directly within our
health system—often without the need for
additional primary care authorization. As part of
an academic medical center, our faculty are
actively involved in teaching and research.

Other compensation such as a
relocation incentive and sign-
on bonus of up to $20,000
may be available.
