Qualifications

• Must be board certified in Gastroenterology and possess a medical degree.
• Experience in managing acutely ill or frail populations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in dedicated endoscopy suites.

Position Highlights:

• Inpatient role
• 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• PMC is a Level III Trauma Center with approximately 75,000 visits annually at the main campus.
• Additional locations include Fort Mill with about 30,000 visits and Gold Hill Free Standing ER with another 30,000 visits.
• Two dedicated endoscopy suites
• GI group provides inpatient hospital coverage rotating during your off weeks
• Support from GI Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Proficiency in ERCP and EUS procedures is a plus
• Ability to perform procedures on acutely ill or frail populations and manage GI emergencies
