Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support in New Mexico. Schedule includes 7–14 consecutive day blocks, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with 7:00 PM–7:00 AM call. Inpatient setting with ERCP/EUS requirements.

Board Certified or fellowship-trained preferred; active New Mexico license and DEA license required. Credentialing typically takes ~90 days, with Epic EMR used for charting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or fellowship-trained candidates preferred.
• Active New Mexico medical license and DEA license required.
• Experience in general gastroenterology is preferred.
• ERCP and EUS experience required in ERCP/EUS cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform ERCP and EUS as required by cases.
• Coordinate care with hospital teams and scheduling blocks (7–14 days).
• Fulfill credentialing requirements (90 days) and maintain EMR documentation.
