Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology with active ME license preferred.
- Experience with lower and upper GI endoscopic procedures required.
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic procedures in the OR and outpatient clinic.
- Manage 14-16 patients per day in the clinic setting.

Coverage Needed:
- June - November 2025
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day with 30-minute lunch
- Specific Dates: June 16-20, June 23-27, June 30-July 3, July 28-Aug 1, August 4-8, August 11-15, August 18-22, August 25-29, September 2-5, September 15-19, September 22-26, September 29-Oct 3, October 6-10, October 20-24, November 24-26, 28
Clinical Details:
- Endoscopic procedures in the OR and possibly one day per week in the clinic
- Adults outpatient (office/clinic)
- Support Staff: Full staff in the OR
- 14-16 patients per day in clinic
- Onsite lab and x-ray
- EMR: Epic
- ERCP not required
- Preferred: Provider who performs advanced procedures, but not mandatory
- Anesthesia Support: Both CRNA and Anesthesiologist
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology - ABMS or AOA
- Active ME license - Highly Preferred
- ACLS, BLS
- COVID and flu vaccine
- Required Procedures: Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy
- Required Upper GI Endoscopy: With Biopsy, With Foreign Body Removal, With Banding of Varices, Diagnostic
- Preferred Procedures: Therapeutic procedures preferred but general accepted
- Institutional ADR (All gender ADR should be 35% or greater)
- Provider must be available for the specific dates listed
