Gastroenterology and Rheumatology Jobs in Alabama Physician

Both positions are located within easy driving distance to Birmingham and Atlanta in a community that offers many recreational lakes and the most beautiful Gulf beaches in the U.S. The city is home to eight colleges and universities. It is a cultural haven with two professional dance companies, a symphony orchestra, the world's sixth-largest Shakespearean theater, and the Museum of Fine Arts. Fine dining, diverse shopping, and nationally recognized sporting activities are also available.

Gastroenterology Position

• Excellent opportunity to build a practice tailored to the incoming physician's specifications
• Advanced GI program will be developed around the incoming provider
• Large referral base with no competition for EUS
• Very collegial group with excellent relationships with the private group
• Fast turnover times in the Surgery Center endoscopy suite
• Current call schedule is 1 in 5 weeks; if another GI is hired, it will be 1 in 6 weeks

Benefits Highlights

• Base salary range: $480,000 to $500,000
• Production bonus: $60 per wRVU

Rheumatology Position

• Ready-made practice
• Outpatient only, no inpatient responsibilities
• Anticipated volume: 18-20 patients/day and 10 injections/week on average
• Light practice call schedule
