• Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 20 patients per shift. The facility is seeking 20 weeks of inpatient gastroenterology (GI) service coverage through 7-day assignments, running from Thursday at 5 PM to the following Thursday at 5 PM. Each assignment includes 24-hour on-call responsibilities, inpatient consults, rounding, and performing inpatient procedures. The current practice consists of three full-time GI physicians, and the goal is to maintain a 1-in-5 call rotation. Locum providers will be essential in covering 2 out of every 5 weeks annually while the facility actively recruits permanent replacements.
