Job Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician

Join a dynamic team at a premier facility located in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. This opportunity is set within a well-established healthcare environment that prioritizes patient care and supports a collaborative atmosphere. The facility is equipped with the latest technology, including the Cerner EMR system, ensuring a seamless workflow for all professionals involved.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inpatient rounding during scheduled shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Manage an average of 8-10 consultations versus procedures per day.
• Provide weekend overnight call coverage from Thursday to Saturday.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of two full-time inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available Monday to Friday.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain excellent communication with team members and patients.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology.
• Prior experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license to practice in the state of Indiana (license required but not active at the time of application).
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Board certification must be obtained prior to start date.
