Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support in North Carolina. Start ASAP, pay rate $3007.00 – $3255.00. Schedule: one week per month, Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, plus one weekend call per month. Inpatient care with hospital-based procedures, Epic EMR.

Licensure in NC or IMLC, Board Certified, ACLS and BLS required. Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. AMN provides malpractice insurance assistance and travel/lodging arrangements.

This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

- Schedule: One week per month, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, plus one weekend of call per month from Friday at 4:30 PM through Monday at 7:30 AM. Weekday and weekend coverage may be filled by separate providers.

- Practice Setting: Inpatient.

- Types of Cases: Gastroenterology, including hospital-based care and procedures.

- Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients per shift; 2–3 rooms in the department.

- Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days.

- Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

- Certifications Required: Board Certified, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

- Licensure Required: Licensed in North Carolina or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
