Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Oregon. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 7:30 am–4:00 pm shifts, performing a broad range of endoscopic procedures and clinical duties in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Active Oregon medical license and BLS are required; EPIC EMR experience preferred. Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days. AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance, competitive pay, and travel support for contractors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform and interpret EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and related procedures.
• Coordinate with EMR (EPIC) for documentation and reporting.
• Participate in credentialing processes and quality initiatives.

This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00p
• Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Capsule Endoscopy - ordering and reading/interpreting results, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Esophageal manometry - ordering and reading/interpreting results, Polypectomy, Biopsy, Endoscopic hemostasis, Stricture dilation, Foreign body removal, Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) - placement, replacement (outpatient), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) - sampling, stent placement, stone extraction, dilation, Cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Must have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Licensure required: Must have an active Oregon license
