Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

• OSF HealthCare is recruiting a Gastroenterologist for a satellite practice position in Galesburg.
• The Gastroenterology group practice, headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, includes eight Gastroenterologists and six advanced practitioners.
• The physician will be clinically based, with hospital consultations at OSF Saint Mary Medical Center.
• ERCP is preferred but not required.
• 1:4 weekend call.
• Visa Sponsorship Available: J1 and H1b visa options are available.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed by the DEA and Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Meet all qualifications for OSF's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned with patient preferences, goals, and needs.
