Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Tyler, Texas. Start ASAP with regular 8-hour shifts and call coverage as needed. Malpractice insurance and travel logistics are typically arranged by AMN.

Candidates must be Board Certified with an active Texas license and proficiency in ERCP, EUS, upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, liver biopsy, and related procedures. EMR experience in Epic and completion of ABLS/ACLS/ATLS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Gastroenterology and Texas licensed.
• Experienced with advanced GI procedures and inpatient care.
• EMR experience with Epic and procedural competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology services and procedures.
• Perform ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, and related interventions.
• Cover call shifts as required and coordinate with hospital teams.
