A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Board Certified GI physician for ongoing coverage in Charleston, SC. The role requires 24-hour shifts, including in-house and night call, with a daily patient volume of approximately 27. Candidates must hold an active SC license and be ERCP certified. Support staff is available during weekdays, and the position involves working at two facilities with varied patient loads.

- Provide coverage for 24-hour shifts at two sites.

- Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- 24 hour shifts:
- 12 hour in house coverage (2 sites, 6 miles apart )
- 12 hour off site night call
- Specific Dates:
- May 9 7am - May 12 7am
- June 21 at 7am - June 28 at 7am
- Clinical Information:
- Support Staff: only Mon - Fri, not on weekends
- Hospital Support: PAs, RNs
- Practice Support: CMAs and PA
- Typical day:
- Scopes in the morning, generally start them at 8:00am, but call does start at 7am
- Then rounding(patient care) and see any consults that are called in
- Then to 2nd facility for the same thing. 2nd facility generally doesn't have as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on
- Then back to the hotel on evening pager
- Patient ages: Adult
- Standard services from GI physician expected
- Daily patient volume: 27

- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- ERCP Required - No exceptions
