Job description

• Coverage Needed:
  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • 24 hour shifts:
    • 12 hour in house coverage (2 sites, 6 miles apart )
    • 12 hour off site night call
  • Specific Dates:
    • May 9 7am - May 12 7am
    • June 21 at 7am - June 28 at 7am
• Clinical Information:
  • Support Staff: only Mon - Fri, not on weekends
    • Hospital Support: PAs, RNs
    • Practice Support: CMAs and PA
  • Typical day:
    • Scopes in the morning, generally start them at 8:00am, but call does start at 7am
    • Then rounding(patient care) and see any consults that are called in
    • Then to 2nd facility for the same thing. 2nd facility generally doesn't have as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on
    • Then back to the hotel on evening pager
  • Patient ages: Adult
  • Standard services from GI physician expected
  • Daily patient volume: 27

• Required:
  • Board Certified
  • Active SC License, CSR & DEA:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • ERCP Required - No exceptions
