Job description

ALTON, IL:

Must have an IL license.

Schedule: Mon-Fri clinic, with overnight weekday call coverage expected while on site.

Availability: Minimum of 2 weeks (10 days) per month; full-time candidates considered.

Work details: In the GI lab 4 days performing procedures, 1 day in the clinic seeing patients. Each day involves 8-9 hours of work. Typical volumes include 12-13 procedures in the lab and around 20 patients in the clinic. Inpatient rounding as needed at a 49-bed hospital.

Responsibilities: Primarily performing procedures such as scopes for bleeds, EGDs, routine colonoscopies, and treating bleeders in the esophagus. Also includes seeing patients in the clinic and inpatient rounding as required.
