Gastroenterologist Opening in Alamogordo, NM

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, permanent
• Role: Health Network is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed team
• Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Patient Distribution: 100% Outpatients
• Expected Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day; seeing 40-60 referrals from other providers
• Sponsorship: H1B and J1 visa sponsorships are available

Requirements:

• Must be Board-Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology

About the Department:

We are a small but growing office offering services such as FibroScan and PillCam. We have two large procedure rooms for in-office procedures like hemorrhoid banding and are open to expanding our service offerings. Procedures may also be performed in our outpatient clinic with a dedicated procedural room, which can be expanded based on demand. Our facility includes four operating rooms with block scheduling for GI specialists and access to an outpatient surgery center at Scenic View hospital, providing flexibility for various procedures. General surgeons currently perform colonoscopies but are willing to transition this responsibility to allow for a more focused approach to patient care.
