Job summary

Florida Digestive Health Specialists LLP seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its gastroenterology team in Brandon, FL. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and educate families on disease management.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing with the state of Florida.
• Gastroenterology experience desirable (1+ year).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team.
• Familiarity with EMR charting systems and HIPAA terminology.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to gastroenterology patients and develop diagnoses.
• Develop patient care plans and document conditions and interventions.
• Educate patients on disease processes, treatments, and prevention.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and dieticians for holistic care.
• Maintain safe clinical environment following infection control and policies.
• Attend educational workshops and participate in professional activities.
• Hospital rounding and weekend call as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
