Job summary

UNC-Chapel Hill's Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks an Open Rank Clinical Faculty with expertise in gastroenterology and endoscopy. The role covers outpatient care, endoscopic procedures, clinic visits and inpatient consults across Chapel Hill and outreach sites.

Collaboration with trainees and a commitment to teaching and research are expected. The successful candidate will join a diverse team, contribute to patient-centered care, participate in training programs for GI fellows,

Qualifications

• MD required and board certification in Gastroenterology expected.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in teaching gastroenterology fellows/residents/students welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care and endoscopic procedures.
• Perform clinic visits and inpatient consults.
• Engage in clinical teaching of GI fellows, residents and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical research and program development.
