Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a friendly Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join a nationwide network serving residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will provide comprehensive GI care, collaborate with a dedicated team, and contribute to high-quality, proactive patient management. The role requires active NP/PA licensure, GI experience, and a Master’s in Nursing, with salary between $150,000 and $200,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing and completion from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care for residents.
• Maintain patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support person-centered care in a nursing facility setting.

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments
• Provide counseling to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans
• Commitment to person-centered care
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents in the nursing home

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Gastroenterology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
