Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Orlando, FL.

This part-time role focuses on comprehensive GI care for residents in long-term care facilities, partnering with MedElite Healthcare Management Group to deliver high-quality services. The ideal candidate holds an NP/PA license, a Master's in Nursing, DEA, and BLS/CPR certification, with at least 6 months in LTC and GI experience.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with GI experience.
• Active license as NP/PA/Physician and DEA certification required.
• Master's in Nursing and NP program completion mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with GI diseases and conditions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team for care coordination.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well‑being.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments.
• Provide counseling to residents and families.
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well‑being
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments
• Provide counseling to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Gastroenterology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi‑level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
