Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team serving the Hardeeville and Bluffton communities in South Carolina. This full-time role offers collaboration with physicians, APPs, nursing, and administrative partners, with opportunities to help grow GI services across the Hardeeville and Bluffton markets.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible South Carolina Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Current or eligible national board certification.
• Current or eligible prescriptive authority.
• BLS certification required.
• Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or related clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a physician and APP team environment.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and manage new and established Gastroenterology patients.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure follow-up as appropriate.
• Provide medication management and patient education.
• Coordinate care with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care providers, and other specialists.
• Support timely access and continuity of care for patients throughout the market.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives.
• Support continued growth and development of Gastroenterology services.
