Novant Health Gastroenterology - Wilmington, part of the Novant Health Surgical Institute, seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established team in coastal Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate is board certified/board eligible with interest in full spectrum GI care; ERCP/EUS training a plus but not required.

• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active license to practice medicine in North Carolina or eligible to obtain one.
• Fellowship trained in GI with focus on endoscopy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care in outpatient setting.
• Perform and assist endoscopic procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a team of GI physicians and APPs to coordinate patient care.

is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join their established team, Novant Health Gastroenterology - Wilmington, located in the desirable coastal community of Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate is board certified/ board eligible and has a background and interest in providing full spectrum GI care. ERCP, EUS, Advanced Training a plus but not required. Primarily see patients in the office and procedures are outpatient; hospital call is minimal. The group consists of 8 physicians, with one physician providing GI hospitalist care each week, and 10 APPs; affiliated with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the only level II Trauma center in southeastern North Carolina.
