Job summary
Trinity Health’s Holy Cross Medical Group in Fort Lauderdale seeks a full-time APRN/NP or PA to join a growing Gastroenterology team. This role supports inpatients and outpatients, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, across Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach locations, including a new downtown Fort Lauderdale Center opening Summer 2027.
You’ll join a cohesive group of physicians and advanced practitioners, delivering endoscopic care, cancer screening, and diagnostic/therapeutic GI services in
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- National APRN certification or PA board certification.
- Current Florida license for PA/NP.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
- Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications.
