Holy Cross Medical Group in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a full-time APRN/NP or PA to join a Gastroenterology team. The position supports both inpatients and outpatients across multiple Holy Cross locations with a busy yet quality-focused practice.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Florida APRN/PA, board-certified, with GI interest. Inpatient and outpatient duties, a Monday‑Friday daytime schedule, and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
• Current Florida PA/APRN license
• APRN or PA national board certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physicals, and interpretation of diagnostic studies
• Manage chronic conditions and care coordination
• Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and medications
• Assist with hospital rounding, consults, and discharge planning (if applicable)
• Document all patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines

Position Summary:

Holy Cross Medical Group is seeking a full-time APRN / Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Gastroenterology team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Join an established, cohesive group of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners that helps to provide care for GI and liver conditions for both inpatients and outpatients. The practice is busy but always remains focused on quality and compassionate care and performs a full range of endoscopic procedures and cancer screening, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic interventions.

• Current locations at the Main Campus in Fort Lauderdale and Holy Cross Health Center in Deerfield Beach. Downtown Fort Lauderdale Center opening Summer 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program

National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.

Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.

Basic Life Support

Preferred Skills:

2+ years of clinical experience with an interest in gastrointestinal diseases

Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record

Bilingual in Russian a plus
