Job summary
UC Davis Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner II to provide independent advanced level clinical expertise in GI and related areas, under standardized procedures or licensure. You will manage chronic and acute conditions, collaborate with the care team, and support education for patients and staff.
The role is 100% on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule, salary range $87.69–$115.72 hourly, and benefits included. Credentialing, safety training, and ongoing professional development are required.
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license without restriction.
- California NP furnishing license required.
- California NP board certification in aligned specialty.
- DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
- BLS/CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross or UC Davis Health).
- National NP board certification in aligned specialty.
- Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing.
- At least 1 year of NP experience.
- At least 1 year of recent GI clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- 80% outpatient clinical work (GI-focused) as assigned.
- 10% professional development activities.
- 5% quality and evidence-based practice responsibilities.
- 5% contributions to research and education.
