Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Gastroenterology Outpatient services. The role emphasizes health promotion, acute and chronic disease management, and close collaboration with physicians in a busy outpatient setting.

Applicants must hold Georgia licensure as an APN or be a licensed PA with NCCPA, and complete ACLS within six months of hire. CPR/ACLS certification is required by Addendum. This position is full-time and on-site at our facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia or Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, WHNP).
• CPR/ACLS and NCCPA recertification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to support medical and surgical care.
• Take patient histories, conduct exams, and document findings in the chart.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education.
• Coordinate with physicians and office staff to ensure quality patient care.
