Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join the University Medicine Tucson clinic. The NP will provide clinical care, perform procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients while collaborating with gastroenterologists and clinicians.

The position supports a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm schedule with no weekends or major holidays, located at Banner University Medical Center South Campus in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• New NP grads with related RN experience encouraged to apply.
• Current AZ NP license or eligible.
• Current NP board certification.
• Active DEA license, BLS, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of Gastroenterology patients.
• Performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Interpretation of diagnostic tests and prescription of medications.
• Education, consultation, and research in a team-based setting.
