Banner Health is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join the University Medicine Tucson clinic. The NP will provide clinical care, perform procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients while collaborating with gastroenterologists and clinicians.

The position supports a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm schedule with no weekends or major holidays, located at Banner University Medical Center South Campus in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• New NP grads with related RN experience encouraged to apply.
• Current AZ NP license or eligible.
• Current NP board certification.
• Active DEA license, BLS, CPR certification.

Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner - Banner University Medicine Tucson, AZ

Banner - University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to be part of a dynamic team providing clinical care in the Gastroenterology Clinic at Banner - University Medical Center South Campus. A previous gastroenterology background and exposure are preferred as are candidates who appreciate a team-based approach to caring for gastroenterology patients. We welcome both experienced practitioners and new graduates with related experience to apply.

As a Nurse Practitioner, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with Gastroenterologists and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care within the clinical faculty.

Work Schedule

Mon-Fri | 8am-5pm | No weekends or major holidays!

Minimum Qualifications
