Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Banner-approved Medical Assistant training program completed.
• Active Medical Assistant certification: RMA, CMA, CCMA or NCMA.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills and good interpersonal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients for exams: records vitals, symptoms and chief complaint.
• Assists providers with exams and minor procedures; takes vitals.
• Coordinates care: pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Provides clerical support and ensures complete medical records and billing data.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and disinfects equipment per guidelines.
• Manages supplies and medication-related tasks.
• Communicates with patients and staff to support care.
• Completes onboarding/orientation activities and works under supervision.
