Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or military medical services training preferred.
• Must be certified/registered by day of hire with one of: AAMA, AMT, NCMA, NHA, NAHP-NRCMA, AMCA.
• BLS through American Heart Association within 30 days of employment/transfer.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, medical ethics, and patient education; effective communication; basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient care management and administrative/clinical procedures.
• Provide administrative/clinical assistance to physicians, mid-levels, nurses, and patients per treatment plan.
• Work under general supervision, across varying shifts, may involve extended hours or callbacks during emergencies.
