Job summary

Position may require over 40 hours, callbacks, and on-campus presence during weather events. High school diploma and appropriate licensure/ certification required. BLS is required within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited medical assisting program or graduation from a formal medical services training program preferred.
• Florida LPN license with BLS required within 30 days of employment/transfer.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient education.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care management and administrative/clinical procedures.
• Provide administrative/clinical assistance to physicians and nurses.
• Adhere to prescribed treatment plans and established policies.
• May be required to work over 40 hours/week and be on campus during severe weather.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Accredited medical assisting program or military medical services training

LPN program graduate with Florida license
