Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate locum Gastroenterologist opening in Longview, TX. The assignment is for one week, starting 09-01-26, with a day rate of $3,000–$3,100. This on-site role requires MD or DO, Texas license, and board certification in gastroenterology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA accredited).
• Gastroenterology fellowship may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat digestive disorders in adults (and children where applicable).
• Order and interpret endoscopies, X-rays, CT, and lab tests.
• Perform endoscopic procedures as allowed by scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and manage chronic conditions.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and radiologists for complex cases.
