Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Gastroenterology physician in Fort Wayne, IN. The assignment is a 2-week engagement with 24-hour on-call coverage and a standard 5 days on, 24 hours off schedule from 07:00 to 07:00.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD/DO, be board-certified in gastroenterology, and possess an Indiana medical license. Start date is 12-24-26, with competitive pay and full locum tenens support from Aya Locums.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency in internal medicine with ACGME or AOA
• Fellowship in gastroenterology preferred

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and treat digestive diseases in adults (and possibly children)
• Take comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Order/interpret tests (endoscopies, imaging, labs)
• Perform endoscopic procedures as scope allows
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage chronic digestive conditions and follow-up care
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists and other specialists
• Educate patients on digestive health and prevention
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Stay current with gastroenterology advances
