Job summary

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is recruiting a hospital-based gastroenterologist to join an employed group. Board-certified or eligible GI specialists with Texas licensure or ability to obtain licensure are welcomed.

This inpatient role requires ERCP expertise, with flexible coverage options (7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or 1 week per month) and APP support to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible gastroenterologist.
• Active Texas license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Inpatient general acute care GI for 1 hospital in Round Rock; close proximity to Austin, TX.
• Inpatient only; ERCP required.
• Flexible schedule: 7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or 1 week a month coverage.
• APP support provided.
• Currently we have 2 GI hospitalists covering 2 weeks a month.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI services for the hospital in Round Rock, TX.
• Perform ERCP as part of routine care.
• Collaborate with GI hospitalists and APPs to manage patient care.
