HCA Florida Healthcare – East Florida Division seeks a dynamic physician leader to join our Gastroenterology Residency program at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital as Core Faculty. The role emphasizes medical education, resident supervision, and scholarly activity within our growing GME footprint.

The Core Faculty will teach residents and medical students, develop curriculum, support assessment and mentorship, and collaborate with affiliated medical schools.

Qualifications

• ABMS board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Florida medical license or eligibility.
• Academic teaching experience preferred.
• Active interest in education and scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and medical students with a focus on evidence-based teaching.
• Develop, implement, and assess curriculum; participate in rounds, didactics and conferences.
• Mentor learners and support resident well-being and professional development.
• Collaborate with affiliated medical schools and support research initiatives.
