Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to assist gastroenterologists and surgeons in diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency endoscopic procedures at our medical facility.

This full-time role requires an Associate's degree, required BLS certification, and gastroenterology experience; on-call coverage is included and work is performed in a clinical, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• At least 1 year gastroenterology experience.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Background checks/background access required.

Responsibilities

• Assist GI or surgeon in diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency endoscopic procedures.
• Set up surgical trays, prep patients, and assist with dressings.
• Maintain sterile technique and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Attend annual required training classes.
• Operate monitoring/recording devices and calibrate equipment.
• On-call duties and after-hours coverage.
