Adventist Health Portland seeks a Medical Assistant to provide non-invasive technical support under supervision of licensed providers. The role includes room setup, patient check-in, and maintaining care logs for tests and referrals.

Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, reporting findings, conducting audiometry and vision tests, and completing additional duties as needed to support the Gastroenterology department and patient care teams.

Qualificações

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
• Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients and maintains a continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
• Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to the clinic physician.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
