Job summary

Duke University School of Medicine seeks a Gastroenterology (GI) Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator (CRNC) to support the divisional research portfolio. You will plan, provide, supervise, and document professional nursing care for research participants according to physician orders and study protocols.

Collaborate with investigators, physicians, and clinic staff; you may supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or ADN or Nursing Diploma program. Must have NC RN licensure; BLS.
• Maintain active RN status with the NC Board of Nursing (NCBON).
• Twelve months of clinical nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Medication Administration; Adult and Pediatric Medication; OR Medication.
• IV, SQ, oral, and rectal drug administration.
• Consent, subject visits, and data/documentation per protocol.
