Job summary

The University of California, Irvine is seeking candidates for the Health Science Clinical Professor series, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels with Gastroenterology experience to join our expanding academic practice, for the following sub-specialties: General GI, Interventional, Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Motility, GI hospitalist.

Candidates will join an established program with gastroenterologists, hepatologists, foregut, hepatobiliary, and colorectal surgeons

Qualifications

• Must have either MD, DO or MBBS.
• Board-certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
• Prior training and/or certification in the above subspecialties.
• Be eligible for a California Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice, teaching responsibilities including supervision of fellows and residents in the inpatient, outpatient and endoscopy center.
• Research domain including clinical trials and translational work.
